Dr Watson graduated in 1977 from Adelaide University. He has a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and served for many years on the college examination panel and as a supervisor for the General Practice Training Programme. He has a special interest in diabetes and has a certificate in Advanced Diabetes Care from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Diabetes Society.

Dr Watson is committed to quality, evidence based care in all areas of general practice, and has nearly 40 years of medical practice experience.
