Salisbury Family Care is located outside the Saints Shopping centre. The practice is open from Monday to Friday and services are mixed billed depending on concession entitlements (See Fees & Policies).

The practice is staffed by experienced general practitioners who provide training to junior doctors and medical students. The practice has a full-time nurse that performs in-practice clinical care and procedures. We utilises allied health services through podiatry. And have an on-site phlebotomy facility.

Salisbury Family Care has made the difficult choice to increase our gap fee to $40 from 1st January 2026. this will allow us to cover practice expenses that standard Medicare billings can no longer cover. Patients who hold concession cards or who are under the age of 16 will not be charged a Gap fee for their consult.

Dr Watson is the only general practitioner who charges a gap fee regardless of concession entitlements.

The full fee (usually $83.90 or $124.90) is payable on the day, if you present an EFTPOS card on the day you will receive your rebate straight back on your card. ($43.90 or $84.90 respectively). Please speak to our reception team for further details of the practice fee structure
